Tom Thumb. Cover photo of Russ Tamblyn and June Thorburn. Story by Eric Freiwald and Robert Shaefer. Art by Jesse Marsh. Four Color is the collective title for Dell's long, irregularly published series of one-shots. This issue is based on the 1958 George Pal movie "Tom Thumb." In a classic fairy tale, a childless couple takes in a foundling who is no bigger than a thumb. As a young man, still no bigger than a thumb, Tom Thumb engages in a battle of wits with two thieves who want to exploit him for their fortune. Fortunately, he's got the advantage with regard to wits. Plus a look behind the scenes at the making of Tom Thumb, a special-effects extravaganza for the time. 32 pages, Full Color. Cover price $0.10.
