Walt Disney Presents Zorro. Cover photo of Keith Larsen. Art by Alex Toth and Russ Manning. Four Color is the collective title for Dell's long, irregularly published series of one-shots. This issue is based on the 1957-59 ABC TV series Zorro, featuring art by comics legend Alex Toth. In fact, this is the first issue to feature Toth's acclaimed Zorro stories. In 1820, heroic Don Diego returns to California from Spain at his father's request, only to find it under the tyrannical rule of a new Commandante. With the aid of his butler Bernardo and his horse Tornado, he becomes Zorro, a masked fighter for freedom. Zorro sets out to free a local landowner the Commandante has imprisoned, but a Zorro impostor complicates the task. Plus a map of California's remaining sites from Zorro's era, featuring art by Russ Manning. Presenting Senor Zorro; Zorro's Secret Passage; The First Vaqueros; Along Zorro's Trail. 32 pages, Full Color. Cover price $0.10.
