Count Gatto hypnotizes Timmy the Timid Ghost and uses him to rob banks, until Atomic Mouse intervenes. Sherlock the Monk and Chuck investigate the mystery of the bent nails, and wind up tied to beds of nails by a crazed carpenter. Billy the Kid suspects that Swami, the new fortune-teller in town, is up to no good.
