They were distributed as a set of 5 for a Quaker Oats mail-in premium, likely published by Fawcett. Gabby graduates from his correspondence detective school and gets a disguise kit in the mail, including a scruffy gray beard just like his own. He decides to put them to use when he thinks a crime has been committed. 7-in. x 2 1/2-in., 24 pages, Full Color.
