Gorgo comic books issue 21

Cover by Dick Giordano. Stories and art by Bill Montes, Ernie Bache, and Bill Molno. The Godzilla-ish sea monster from the 1961 B-movie becomes the star of this cult-classic Charlton monster comic. Gorgo learns that the Soviets have found Atlantis and turned it into an underwater base. Then American submarines discover the base, and that's when it hits the proverbial propeller. In a backup story, a future scientist invents a sort of warp-speed engine by traveling backwards in time while traveling forward in space, resulting in little true elapsed time. Plus true stories of leopard seals striking back at hunters. The Nation Beneath the Sea; A Second or an Eon?; Mountains of Fire; The Wrong Button; The Arctic Killer. 32 pages, Full Color. Cover price $0.12.
