The fourth issue of the Flashback reprint series presents Special Comics # 1 originally published in 1941 by MLJ Magazines. With issue #2, this series became titled Hangman Comics, so this is actually Hangman # 1. Three Hangman stories. Two Boy Buddies back-up stories (art on both by Paul Reinman). Origins of the Hangman (retold) and the Boy Buddies. Death of the Comet. Shield and Wizard cross-over. 68-pages, full color cardstock covers, 7-3/4-in. x 10-3/8-in. black-and-white interior on white paper stock, saddle-stitched binding. Cover price $3.00.
