Story, art and cover by Alex Raymond. Pacific Comics Club presents full-color reprints of the classic Sunday adventure strip from Alex Raymond, creator of Flash Gordon. Collects the Sunday strips from June 11, 1939 to Aug. 27, 1939. Jim and Lil survive an ambush on a treacherous rope bridge and a plunge into the waters below...but it looks like Jim's sidekick Kolu wasn't so lucky. The margins include collector stamps based on Flash Gordon and Jungle Jim characters, drawn by Raymond himself (a feature of the original comic strip).
