    Story, art and cover by Alex Raymond. Pacific Comics Club presents full-color reprints of the classic Sunday adventure strip from Alex Raymond, creator of Flash Gordon. Collects the Sunday strips from May 19, 1940 to Aug. 4, 1940. The native insurrection has been quelled, leaving Jim and Kitty in bad shape - but Jim's concern for Kitty breaks Lil's heart. The margins include collector stamps based on Flash Gordon and Jungle Jim characters, drawn by Raymond himself (a feature of the original comic strip).  Softcover (Saddle-Stitched/Stapled), 15-in. x 10-in., 20 pages, Full Color.

Artist Paul Norris (the creator of Aquaman) takes over the art chores on the strip at this time; his signature first appears on the August 22 1948 strip. These issues have 2A Serie under the issue number. Collects the Sunday strips from July 4, 1948 to Sept. 19, 1948. Jim and Kolu find danger in the ancient ruins of Ponadpura.
