Yvonne is a social pariah at school because her father (a Mississippi sheriff in the '60s!) is always rousting the teens at the local make-out spot. Anne and Linda go camping in Yellowstone National Park to get away from boys, but that's where they meet handsome park ranger Wesley. Plus hairstyle advice for teens on how to achieve a classic '60s hairdo. Cover by John Buscema. Stories and art by John Buscema, Bill Woolfolk, Bob Rogers and Mort Leav. A post-war, pre-Code romance comic from pioneering female publisher Rae Herman of Orbit-Wanted (who doubled as Love Diary's advice columnist, Ray Mann). Published ten months after issue #47; first issue with the Comics Code seal on the cover. Neither Judy nor Jerry wants marriage, but meeting each other might change their minds, in one of three early stories (and cover) in this issue by future Marvel and Conan legend John Buscema. Buscema also drew the Prescription for Happiness story, in which Peter and Elizabeth's romance is derailed by Peter's domineering mother. Plump Nancy keeps losing her boyfriends to slim sister Pat, but then realizes it's not her weight that's the problem. Bachelor Girl; I Was a Fat Girl!; Prescription for Happiness; Best Love! Final issue of the series. 32 pages, Full Color. Cover price $0.10.
