First issue! Another unique "New Direction" title joins the EC line-up this month for the first of five issues featuring some of the best artists of the Silver Age turning their attention to the world of medical drama. The first story, "The Fight for Life" with (Graham Ingels art) brings you from pre-history to modern medicine. "Janie Some Day," illustrated by George Evans, shows the then-state-of-the-art approach for the case of a kid with "crippled legs." Joe Orlando handled the art for "To Fill the Bill," an ER-style story of medicine by a family doctor? on the dining room table! Reed Crandall drew "The Antidote," the final story in this first issue.
