Mini-Comic comic books issue 5

The mini comics were packaged with Kenner Toys DC Super Powers Collection line. They measure 4 1/4 x 2 3/4 with 16 pages all in color.

Promotional comic originally given away in connection with promotion of the Atari 2600. "Galaxian", script by Gerry Conway and Roy Thomas, art by Ross Andru, Gil Kane, and Dick Giordano; Atari Force investigates their 13th world, which turns out to be an unihabited paradise; Then a ship appears carrying Aviar, a Custodian, asking why they are trespassing; After hearing their case, she escorts them to Centerworld so the First Custodians can decide whether to allow them to settle there; After they land and depart their ship, the Dark Destroyer, who was sent to this universe after its last encounter with the Atari Force, takes control of the population and attacks; Orion discovers the Dark Destroyer and Atari Force attacks the asteroid its hiding on, having to fight their way through the Custodians first; Atari Force is victorious, although the Dark Destroyer created an organic nodule in the event he was defeated that goes unnoticed as Atari Force heads back to Centerworld; After some discussion, it is decided to allow humanity to settle on planet 11435-18-2 and grant them probationary membership in the United Federation of Worlds. 5-in. x 7-in. mini comic book. 52 pgs., full color.

Archie is the 5th issue in the Bubble Funnies series released in 1981 by Amurol Products and Marvel. Each full color issue measures 2-5/8-in. x 3-1/2-in. and features 10 story pages. Copies originally came shrinkwrapped with a stick of pink bubble gum. A copy is considered mint even if the shrinkwrap and gum have been removed. In fact, the gum should be removed if still present to prevent future damage to the comic.

#5: "Skin Condition!" Starring Ghost Rider. This is a collection of mini-comics were packaged with the Toy Biz line of Ghost Rider toys from the 90s. 3-in. x 5-in., 8 pages, full color.

7 issues in series. These were self published by Adrian Tomine starting in 1991 before Drawn and Quarterly picked up the title for an ongoing series in 1995. Cover price $1.25.

One in a series of twenty 2.75-in. x -.75-in. mini comics featuring single-panel gag cartoons produced by Bulco, Inc. and distributed by mail order by the Greyko Company, Box 520, G.P.O., NY, NY. These 16-page, black-and-white mini comics originally sold in sets of 20 different comics. None of the comics are dated buy they are copyrighted (without date) by Bulco, Inc. Based on the fact that all 20 could be mailed in 4-in. x 6.25-in. brown envelope for just 3c postage, we estimate the date of publication to be the early to mid-1940's do to references to World War II, Rationing, etc. in some of the cartoons. NOTE: More than 20 of these mini comics may have been produced and the selection varied over the years.
