During the 1940s, military hero Don Winslow was the star of a comic strip, a movie serial and a popular radio show in addition to this Fawcett comic. Red is accidentally taken up in a carnival hot-air balloon, only to discover a Nazi spy is using it for reconnaissance. Don and Red join forces with the "Sea Bees" in an attack on an Axis-held island. Someone is killing Marines in Australia, and attaching the corpses to kangaroos - a truly bizarre image.
