Negima! comic books issue 2

Volume 2 - 1st printing. By Ken Akamatsu. Negi Springfield was a whiz at the magic academy where he graduated at the age of 10 - but now he's out in the real world. His graduate assignment is teaching English in an all-girls' Japanese high school, where he's absolutely forbidden to use his magical powers. His 31 students are not the best at their subjects, either - and as a matter of fact, the class stands a real chance of ending up last in the school! If that happens, Negi won't be promoted to full teaching status, and the girls might be asked to repeat a year. The stakes are high! So it's off to the school's Library Island in search of a fabled, legendary book of magic that can help all the girls pass their tests. Traps, puzzles, and many other obstacles await as Negi and his girls fight to regain their reputation! Softcover, 5-in.x 7-in., 208 pages, B&W. NOTE: These are Japanese manga-style GNs and are meant to be read right-to-left. Cover price $10.95.
