Like the Twilight Zone, but more science fiction than fantasy, The Outer Limits chilled 1950s TV audiences with tales of what-if featuring twist endings. Royal's new glasses reveal the aliens among us disguised as humans, in a story similar to the John Carpenter film They Live (released 20 years later). Mr. Mynde, the big-brained mentalist who joins the struggling Torrence circus, is actually an alien bent on world conquest. Astronauts Collier and Schanz encounter a space-fungus that grows on everything, and is extremely contagious. The Strangers in Our Midst; Mr. Mynde; In Deep Space. 32 pages, Full Color.
