    Porky Pig (1952-1962 Dell) 40

    Comic book starring the Warner Bros. cartoon character Porky Pig. Robot Bird; Porky buys a parakeet for Petunia, but it escapes its cage; Bugs is working for a company that makes robot bird retrievers and tries to use one to capture the parakeet. Porky Pig Meets the Great Optic; Porky says he can't be hypnotized, but when he volunteers to be a subject at a performance of "The Great Optic," he is, of course, immediately hypnotized. The Builder; Porky decides that he'll build a summer cabin for Petunia on a lot at the lake; Porky goes through the usual construction mishaps and then finds himself stranded in the middle of the lake when the lot breaks loose and slides into the lake. The Rag Rug Roundup; Petunia is weaving a rag rug for a hobby show and sends Porky to collect rags for it. Turtle Race; Porky and Cicero have a turtle race. Cicero cheats by using a roller skate. 36 pages, full color. Cover price $0.10.

"Borrowed Trouble"; Sylvester has lost his purse and tries to borrow money from Tweety, who has none; He saves Tweety from another cat, and Tweety stumbles on the purse and "repays" Sylvester. "Birdbrain Ranger"; Two bluebirds raise a family in Porky's hat while he is wearing it. "Bad Luck Bonanza"; Porky is having some bad luck so Cicero tries to arrange some good luck; This causes Bugs to challenge Porky to a luckiness contest. 36 pgs., full color. $0.15.
