A condemned prisoner's last meal reminds him how he came to be on Death Row in the first place. A two-page mystery involving a truck hijacking offers a cash prize to the reader who can figure it out - the "prize" of the magazine's title. A boy is entranced by his grandfather's tales of adventure in the Old West, but the old man feels that modern life has passed him by.
