Volume 8 - 1st printing. Story and art by Masahiro Shibata. In the near future, the civilization has been ruined due to genetic mutation. Individuals are mutated after the age of 16; and people are forced to accept this fate. In this era, hardship is an understatement but Sarai and her fellow Guard Maids fight for protecting their masters. Patchouli is one of the trainees of the special class "A." Although she can't control her ESP, she continues to run away from the Guard headquarters. But this time, Sarai is ordered to look after and protect her. Unfortunately, that's easier said than done. Softcover, 5-in. x 7-in., 192 pages, B&W. Cover price $9.95.
