Reprints from Frisky Fables. An interesting issue in that the title character, Spunky, the Smiling Spook, does not appear anywhere in this comic. There is a Spunky story, but the title character in the story is a small kangaroo. Why the change which appears to have been done at the last minute? We'll probably never know. Untitled story, art by Al Fago; Boston Bully calls people names and gets turned into the animals that he calls them. Untitled story, art by Marty Taras; Frosty and Gabbie find a milk-making machine. Untitled story, art by Harold Abbey; Pidgy paints a bear and gets into a fight with it. "Rootitoot" text story. Untitled story; Spunky pretends to be the Crown Prince of Kangavania and gets himself into trouble. Untitled story; Tick, Tack, and Toe play at a construction site. 36 pgs., full color. Cover price $0.10.
