Collects the Steve Canyon daily and Sunday strips from Nov. 16, 1951 to April 7, 1952. Also featuring Scorchy Smith. Steve pretends to romance an old friend while actually protecting her scientist boss from Soviet spies, but things get complicated when she takes the act too seriously. Kitchen Sink also provides a wealth of behind-the-scenes material about Caniff's career. This issue features Caniff's thoughts on how he created the fictitious college campus Maumee University.
