Kitchen Sink also provides a wealth of behind-the-scenes material about Caniff's career. This issue features early examples of Caniff's art, from high school through his work on the Dickie Dare strip; a look at the Steve Canyon TV series that ran on NBC from 1958-59, along with an episode guide; and one of Caniff's last articles about being a professional cartoonist.
