"From the Void It Came...," script by Steve Skeates, pencils by Dan Adkins, inks by Vince Colletta; A brooding Namor gets into a confrontation with a couple of surface dwellers; They attack Namor which leads to a fight; Then he's attacked by an alien creature and also retaliates against it; The defeated created escapes and Namor is left to wonder what its purpose was. Editorial afterword and final closing notes from Roy Thomas. Marvel Value Stamp series A #100, Galactus by Jack Kirby. The Sub-Mariner next appears in Giant-Size Super-Villain Team-Up #1. 36 pgs., full color. $0.25. NOTE: Aquaman #56 and Sub-Mariner #72 is the infamous hidden DC/Marvel crossover! Writer Steve Skeates, unbeknownst to the editorial staffs of Marvel and DC, creates the very first intercompany crossover between the Big Two. Aquaman battles a creature that at the end of the issue explodes in outer space. A few years later, the very same creature emerges in the Marvel Universe from an explosion in outer space.
