Canadian edition. Cover by Charles Biro. Stories and art by Charles Biro, Norman Maurer, and Frank Frazetta. This boys' adventure title was one of the comics that made publisher Lev Gleason a major player during the Golden Age. Scarecrow accidentally helps a convict escape and is hunted by police as an accomplice. Dilly Duncan gets a chance to save the day when the school football team is getting beaten, but no one believes he can do it. A classic anti-drug PSA featuring early art by fantasy and comics legend Frank Frazetta. This issue has perhaps one of the most unusual non-MAD covers of the '50s, with no art whatsoever, just a note referring the reader to the "Scramblehead" puzzle game and mail-in contest inside.
