The team of writer Del Connell and artist Al Hubbard continued the strip begun by Walt Kelly. The water supply of the Wheat kingdom is low, so Peter and Beetle investigate why the North Wind failed to give the mountains snow. They discover that the North Wind has been captured by a strange race of mushroom people. They must battle the mushroom people to steal back the key to the North Wind's cave. 16 pages, Full Color.
