Story by Del Connell. Art by Al Hubbard. Peter Wheat is the inch-high hero of the Wheat Field, where he lives with his insect friends. The team of writer Del Connell and artist Al Hubbard continued the strip begun by Walt Kelly. The folk of the Wheat Kingdom are turned into living statues by an unknown force. Beetle learns the Raven Witch is responsible, but she turns him into a caterpillar. Now Peter must defeat her to free his people and turn his friend back into the right kind of bug. 16 pages, Full Color.
