Story by Del Connell. Art by Al Hubbard. Peter Wheat is the inch-high hero of the Wheat Field, where he lives with his insect friends. The team of writer Del Connell and artist Al Hubbard continued the strip begun by Walt Kelly. Peter Wheat enlists Beetle in his latest idea, fetching a wagonload of snow from Mt. Pollo to cool down the folk of the Wheat Kingdom. But King Blue-Eye of the Trolls relishes a chance to settle a score with Peter and Beetle. And the Grand Wizard sees a chance to invade with his Hornet Knights. 16 pages, Full Color.
