The team of writer Del Connell and artist Al Hubbard continued the strip begun by Walt Kelly. When the gooseberry shipment doesn't arrive as scheduled, Peter and Beetle go to the Berry Kingdom to investigate. Blackbirds have taken over the Berry Kingdom, and are forcing the bugs who harvest the berries to give them all to the Blackbird king. 16 pages, Full Color.
