The Complete Crumb Comics Volume 15 focuses on the years 1983 to 1985 and includes all of Crumb's seminal contributions to Weirdo #9-15. Kicking off with a lengthy introduction by Crumb's Weirdo prodigy, Peter Bagge, Volume 15 also includes the first of Crumb's exciting experiments in brush ("Patton," from ZAP! #11), the first several appearances of Crumb's Mode O'Day, his first collaborations with Charles Bukowski, and much more. Seminal stories include "Psychopathia Sexualis" and "Where Has It Gone, All the Beautiful Music of Our Grandparents?" Also featured is a cornucopia of rare Crumb ephemera, including illustrations for Edward Abbey's Monkeywrench Gang as well as a section of rare, music-related art (album covers, posters).
