Tip-Topper Comics collected some of United Features Syndicates most popular comic strips of the 1940s in full color, including Lil Abner and Fritzi Ritz. Fritzi was later known as "Aunt Fritzi" in the Nancy comic strip. Phil Fumble uses his binoculars to watch the fans rather than the baseball game, in a strip that showcases Bushmiller's "good girl" art. Palooka-like boxer Curly Kayoe plans to marry Terry, but tragedy awaits after his mother falls ill.
