    "Recaptured." Stories by Phil Nowlan. Art and cover by Russell Keaton (credited as Dick Calkins). Reprints of the early comic strip that defined "science fiction" for an entire generation. 20th-century soldier Buck Rogers is revived in the 25th century to have space adventures. Reprints the Buck Rogers Sunday strips from Dec. 7, 1930 to Feb. 22, 1931. Reproduced in full color and full size, the Sunday strips (with a different storyline than the daily strip) follow the adventures of Buddy Deering, younger brother of Buck's compadre Wilma Deering. Buddy encounters a race of Venusian warriors who ride giant hawks through the skies. 12.5-in. x 15.75-in., 20 pages, Full Color.

    Trent's superior tasks him with helping a lady who came to the police to report the disappearance of her husband. The sergeant is stunned to discover the woman he is still in love with: Agnes. Her husband is the manager of a railway construction site far to the northwest, and he hasn't been heard from in weeks. Worse, his last letters spoke of a mysterious danger threatening the camp. The pair go to investigate.
