Cover by Gil Kane. Stories and art by Gil Kane, Steve Skeates, Ray Bailey, Don Segall and Frank Bolle. A spinoff of Tower's THUNDER Agents books, as Lt. Davey Jones and hero-team UNDERSEA defend the Earth's oceans from super-villainy. During a repair job outside of UNDERSEA's Atlantis headquarters, Skooby is menaced by a passing shark. Davy struggles to save Skooby after a lab accident transforms him into a gigantic sea monster, in classic Jimmy Olsen sidekick-style. The monster looks like a cross between Savage Dragon and Fin Fang Foom, in a story (and cover) featuring early art by future Marvel legend Gil Kane. Skooby discovers the mindless slaves of mad General Zomba. Terrific cover by Kane. To Save a Monster; The Haunted Shipwreck; Bait-Can Caper. 64 pages, Full Color. Cover price $0.25.
