In a story by Barks, Donald becomes a genius after a blow to the head and creates a new rocket fuel. This story is famous among certain segments of the scientific community for Donald's casual (and coincidental) mention of a rare chemical compound amidst his pseudo-scientific gobbledygook. This issue, in addition to reprinting the story, includes an article about the scientific buzz around the story since its original appearance. In another story, Daisy is worried when she gets a letter from Grandma Duck that seems tear-stained.
