NOTE: Two versions of this comic were printed. This edition was produced without a poster insert at the centerfold of the comic. Cover does not have "Bonus: Giant Poster Inside" printed at top of cover. Cover by Tony Strobl and Larry Mayer. Stories and art by Carl Barks, Al Hubbard, Tony Strobl, Pete Alvarado, and Paul Murry. Sometimes listed as Vol. 30 #10. The long-running vehicle for Disney character comics featured art by Carl Barks, the legendary Good Duck Artist. Mickey and Goofy join the search for a plane carrying a prized ruby that disappeared in the Ei-ei Mountains. In a story by Barks, Donald's new scheme to raise chickens doesn't work out as planned. Scamp's talkative new friend knows how to save money on everything.
