Cover by Johnny Craig. Stories and art by Graham Ingels, Rudy Palais, and Al Feldstein. E.C.'s early Pre-Trend crime title featured gangsters, gunplay and femmes fatale. A boxer gets the chance to use his fighting skills against gangster Big Jim, in an Al Feldstein story. Blackie Archer's protection racket is going just fine until that fateful shakedown at the ice cream factory, with art by Graham Ingels. A botched hold-up and a woman's testimony put the "Brooklyn Murder Mob" where they belong, with art by Rudy Palais. Plus an EC Comics PSA imploring teens to respect their local newsdealer's business, and not hang out in doorways scaring off customers - a real sign of its times. The Last Round; Your Newsdealer, He is Your Friend!; Escape!; The Rise and Fall of Blackie Archer; Childs Play!; Mystery Woman Betrays Brooklyn Murder Mob! 32 pages, Full Color. Cover price $0.10.
