  • Issue #112
    Western Hero (1949) 112
    Published Mar 1952 by Fawcett.

Stories and art by Sheldon Moldoff, Bill Woolfolk, Leonard Frank, Edmond Good and Carl Pfeufer. Fawcett's tales of Western heroes from folklore and the movies. Monte Hale tracks the stagecoach robber called The Owl, who wears an owl mask and can see in the dark, like other supervillains of that name. Tex Ritter: Fury's Revenge!; Li'l Buck; Gabby Hayes: A Lot of Bull; Monte Hale Battles the Owl; Cactus Brain; Slim Carson: Tallyman Trouble; Wagonwheels; Tom Mix: The Valley of Annihilation. Final issue of the series that began as Wow Comics (1940-1948 Fawcett). 32 pages, Full Color. Cover price $0.10.
