But the comedy turns very dark as the imps accidentally kill our heroes in a saga that takes them on a destructive rampage through nearly every universe DC has presented.
Alex Ross paints the realistically rendered world of Kingdom Come. Frank Miller says knighty-knight to the world of The Dark Knight Returns. Dave Gibbons shreds the Silver Age of Comics. Jaime Hernandez tests the limits of the power of Shazam. And that's just the beginning.
