Trade Credit
Trade credit can be earned by trading us comics and can be used to purchase items from our web site. In most cases trade credit functions just like cash, with the following exceptions:
- Trade credit cannot be used to purchase auction items.
- Trade credit cannot be used to purchase consignment items.
- Trade credit cannot be used to purchase items from our subscription service.
Most expensive items listed on MyComicShop will be listed as consignments or in our auctions, so we recommend you choose trade credit only if you intend to use your credit to buy items priced $50 and under, such as new comics and graphic novels, filling in runs of back issues, etc. If your primary interest is in comics over $50, you should not choose trade credit, as most of those types of books will be consignments or auction items and ineligible for trade credit.
