by Brian Denham "Killbox" is the military term for enemy territory that is target-rich. Deadly force is authorized for anything that moves inside "the box." Marine Corps tank commander Lalone leads his men into the heart of battle to deliver humanitarian supplies. When the enemy advances, his escape route is cut off. Trapped behind enemy lines and inside the killbox, the tankers must face-off against brutal warlords, warring factions, snipers and wily female missionaries sabotaging their every move. Can this tank crew survive their first foray into the Killbox, the most dangerous place on Earth? Packed with sketches, interviews, photos, and a full-length story, this preview book takes you behind the scenes of the making of this exciting new series. Comics creator Brian Denham (Evil Ernie, Warrior Nun, Violator vs. Badrock) delivers a tour-de-force of explosive military action. $16.00
1st printing. "A Memory!" By Will Eisner. Dark Horse is proud to present the newest graphic novel by Will Eisner, one of comics' pioneers and inarguably the medium's first "maverick" creator! Last Day in Vietnam is Eisner's memoir of stories about soldiers who are engaged not only in the daily hostilities of war but also in larger, more personal combat. During Eisner's years in the military, and particularly during the many field trips he made for P.S. Magazine, he observed camp life at close range. Some of the stories in this novel are comical, some heartrending, some frightening, yet all display the incredible insight into humanity characteristic of Eisner's entire oeuvre. The first edition of this graphic novel will feature a full-color cover painted by the artist, with a matte and spot-gloss finish, interior cover flaps, and special sepia-colored ink printed on high-quality antique paper. Softcover, 8 1/2-in.x 11-in., 80 pages, full color. Cover price $10.95.

The Lincoln Brigade focuses on Oliver Law, an African American who fought and protested for worker rights in the 1930s United States. Law and other black American citizens volunteered on their own to go to Spain, first heading to France and then smuggling themselves across the border, and with little training, fighting in the Spanish Civil War against the fascist faction leader, General Francisco Franco.
Law would eventually go on to lead the entire brigade army, integrated with both black and white soldiers, into combat. In the end, a third of them would ultimately lose their lives against the German and Italian-backed Franco forces.
