1st printing. Written by Pat Mills and Simon Bisley. Art by Simon Bisley and Clint Langley. Cover by Simon Bisley. Stranded for millions of years on an asteroid is hard work-especially when you only have a sewage droid for company! Joe Pineapples, the hotshot robotic sniper who never misses and former member of the A.B.C. Warriors-a team of war robots sent to first conquer and then protect Mars-looks back over his life as he seeks to unravel the mystery behind an I.D. plate that he has carried around since his days as an X-terminator fighting in the Volgan War. This brand-new, stand-alone A.B.C. Warriors story marks the return of Simon Bisley to the characters for the first time with 1988's classic Black Hole story, which kickstarted his comic career, but now in glorious painted color reminiscent of Bisley's work on Slaine: The Horned God. Clint Langley, who has drawn A.B.C. Warriors stories for the last 15 years, completes this final tale of Joe Pineapples in his own unique style. Softcover, 96 pages, PC/PB&W. Cover price $22.99.

This item is not in stock at MyComicShop. If you use the "Add to want list" tab to add this issue to your want list, we will email you when it becomes available.

2nd and later printings. Written by Frank MIller. Art and cover by Geof Darrow. Geof Darrow was awarded an Eisner for his spectacular artwork on 1995's hit miniseries, The Big Guy and Rusty the Boy Robot. For all the time and all the care he lavished on those pages, it's an award that was well-earned. When Geof first came into the Dark Horse offices with the finished pages for the two-issue series, we were all stunned by the detail. On these huge pages, there were minute details that we couldn't see clearly without a magnifying glass -- things that would be lost in the reduction and hidden behind word balloons and coloring. At that point we knew we would have to publish an even-more-oversized edition of the series, in black-and-white and sans dialogue, so that everyone could see a better approximation of what we saw. This 11 3/4" x 15 3/4", softcover collection is the direct result of that first viewing, an attempt to show the comics world what we were privileged to see that first day. Reproduced here as large as possible, this action-packed adventure is presented in its "natural state," somewhat akin to watching a widescreen, laserdisc version of Scorsese's Raging Bull. All 65 pages of the original story are included, as well as a gallery featuring some rarely seen art. Even if it took you by storm the first time around, you can be assured that you ain't seen nothing yet! Softcover, 11 1/2-in. x 15 1/2-in., 64 pages, B&W. NOTE: Story is told with NO words. Cover price $29.95.
