Text By James Campbell. ,b>Art by E.H. Shepard.
Winnie the Pooh and his friends from the Hundred Acre Wood are some of the world's most beloved characters in children's literature. Before they appeared in millions of books, they began life in the 1920s as the product of a unique collaboration between A. A. Milne and E. H. Shepard. Author and illustrator wove images and text together in a way that was utterly original for the time. It was a process that Shepard relished, creating artwork for new editions right up until his death in 1976 at the age of 96. In this beautifully designed, full-color volume, which includes a foreword from Shepard's granddaughter, readers will not only discover the story behind this remarkable partnership, but also follow the evolution of Shepard's work, from those first tentative and never-before-seen sketches to the illustrations we know and love.

Aru Shah has a tendency to stretch the truth in order to fit in at school.
While her classmates are jetting off to family vacations in exotic locales, she'll be spending her autumn break at home, in the Museum of Ancient Indian Art and Culture, waiting for her mom to return from her latest archeological trip. Is it any wonder that Aru makes up stories about being royalty, traveling to Paris, and having a chauffeur?
One day, three schoolmates show up at Aru's doorstep to catch her in a lie. They don't believe her claim that the museum's Lamp of Bharata is cursed, and they dare Aru to prove it. Just a quick light, Aru thinks. Then she can get herself out of this mess and never ever fib again.
But lighting the lamp has dire consequences. She unwittingly frees the Sleeper, an ancient demon whose duty it is to awaken the God of Destruction. Her classmates and beloved mother are frozen in time, and it's up to Aru to save them.
The only way to stop the demon is to find the reincarnations of the five legendary Pandava brothers, protagonists of the Hindu epic poem, the Mahabharata, and journey through the Kingdom of Death. But how is one girl in Spider-Man pajamas supposed to do all that?

A fun, action-packed fantasy adventure about a girl, her dog, and magic gone wrong!
Quiet...birds...nature.... That's what Aster expects when her parents move their whole family to the middle of nowhere. It's just her (status: super-bored), her mom and dad (status: busy with science), her brother (status: has other plans), and...magic?
In her new home, Aster meets a mysterious old woman with a herd of dogs who gives her a canine companion of her own. But when she and her dog Buzz are adventuring in the forest, they run into a trickster spirit who gives Aster three wishes. After wishing for the ability to understand and talk to her dog, she becomes only able to talk in dog language...and the trouble she gets into is just starting.
Maybe the middle of nowhere will be more interesting than Aster thought.

1st printing. Written by Jean-Yves Ferri. Art and cover by Didier Conrad. You'll have to wait until October to discover Asterix and the Missing Scroll, the 36th album of the adventures of Asterix. In the meantime, why not look through all your old albums and make a list of all the regions our gallant warriors have already visited? Because it's official: for this new adventure, Asterix and Obelix will stay in Gaul, as the tradition of Asterix albums dictates. But which region of Gaul remains to be discovered? What will be the theme? And what ruses will Caesar use this time to achieve his ends? Speculation is well underway on social media, but one thing is for sure: there will be battles aplenty! And yes, there will be new characters, including one really nasty one! Yes, there will be potions and Romans who get "walloped". Yes, the plot will be complex and thrilling and yes, there will be jokes about topical issues too... In short, another Asterix just the way we like it, is on its way! So yes, it's official, the Gauls are making a comeback: It seems that Caesar is still in "I came, I saw," mode. As for "I conquered," well we'll see about that! Asterix conquered Europe ironically by keeping his tiny village in Gaul from being conquered by the Roman Empire. Turns out, Asterix and his fellow villagers have a secret weapon, a potion that imbues them all with super strength. But the Romans aren't about to give up no matter how many times Asterix and his friends fend them off.
These classic comics are not only incredibly entertaining, but the historic figures are brought to life in a way that's exciting and humanizing, providing educational elements similar to the Geronimo Stilton graphic novels.

Written by Rene Goscinny. Art and cover by Albert Uderzo.
One of the world's greatest comics characters, the ever-fearless Asterix, continues to battle supposedly unbeatable odds to protect his tiny village from the Roman Empire. Fortunately, all of the villagers have super-strength thanks to a secret potion.
In "Asterix and the Big Fight," one of the three classic Asterix graphic novels collected here, the Romans are beginning to wise up. Instead of trying to conquer Asterix's village, the Roman's challenge Vitalstatistx, chief of Asterix's tribe, to a one on one battle with the Gallo-Roman Chief, Cassius Ceramix of Linoleum. As per Ancient Gaulish customs, the loser would forfeit his entire tribe to the winner.
"Asterix in Britain," the Romans have conquered all of Britain except for a single village in Kent. Sound familiar? Anticlimax, a member of that British village, travels to Gaul to seek help from his first cousin once removed, Asterix. Together, with Obelix, they decide to bring back a barrel full of the secret potion that imbues anyone with super-strength, but word leaks out, and the Romans will do anything they can to thwart this rescue mission.
Finally, in "Asterix and the Normans," Asterix encounters a group of Normans who want to learn all about fear, and that's just the tip of the iceberg as far as how many strange and crazy things happen in this particular adventure. We won't even mention which pop star is parodied in this story!
Just when you think you know what to expect in Asterix, the creators Goscinny and Uderzo throw things at you that you never could've imagined. That's probably why Asterix remains such a successful comics character to this day!

Then, in "Asterix and the Chieftain's Shield" with the village chief away, Caesar and his men come to play-and get their hands on a priceless Gaul shield! Asterix must foil their search and protect his village.
Then Asterix heads to Greece to participate in the Olympic games. But how do the Gauls register themselves? As Romans? And is their powerful potion an ancient form of performance enhancers?
