Thanks again for your generous offers on our comics. This last check basically paid for our hotel room for our upcoming vacation...and with gas prices as they are now...let's just say, had I had to have gone through the eBay process, I wouldn't have nearly been taken care of so quickly, efficiently and generously as we were with you folks at Lone Star Comics. I have my eyes on yet another collection of Batman Annuals. When I get back, I may buy them, knowing in advance what you'll pay me. You're online price system has usurped Overstreet as the "bible" of the industry--if you pay $20 for a book, I know that's what it's worth at wholesale! That's a comforting feeling to have. Wow! My second of four sales to you is complete, and I must say, it saddens me that I didn't find you before I wasted all that money with eBay and PayPal fees. I've recouped $200 from a collection I recently bought in just three short weeks, with more to come, and at an actual fair percentage of what they're worth. I would have been lucky to have gotten 99 cents on eBay out of some of the books you've paid over 10 bucks for. (And, if I wasn't lucky enough to get bids on the first go-round, there are those darned re-listing fees, not to mention the time consumption of placing an ad...). As you can tell, Lone Star Comics will always get the first offer on any future collections I acquire; and it's comforting to know if I can't afford the collection, you'll offer me a nice "finder's fee" as well.
