This boys' adventure title was one of the comics that made publisher Lev Gleason a major player during the Golden Age. The Little Wise Guys organize a cross-country bicycle club, but on their first outing they get captured by escaped convicts. Dilly Duncan decides to play detective while reading Sherlock Holmes, little realizing that crooks have infiltrated the school. The Little Wise Guys build and race a soap-box derby racer and attract the attention of an automotive designer. Also featuring a vintage ad for a "striptease" novelty tie from the Glow in the Dark Necktie Co. Final appearance of Daredevil on the cover title logo, the last trace of the character (other than his name) anywhere in the comic. Little Wise Guys: Vicious Cycles; Laff Dis Off!; Dilly Duncan of Dorset High: Sherlock Duncan; Little Wise Guys: Scarecrow Does It Again; Crimebuster: Sneezy's Scandal. 32 pages, Full Color. Cover price $0.10.
