Stories and art by Chester Gould and Bill Ely. Dell reprints the original comic-strip adventures of legendary tough cop Dick Tracy and his rogues gallery of freakish enemies. This issue reprints strips from Sept. 26 - Oct. 27, 1935. Tracy temporarily becomes Chief of Police in small-town Homeville to reduce crime. But his arrival coincides with that of gangsters Cut and Muscle Famon, and their equally deadly mother, Maw Famon. The backup feature by Bill Ely stars tough cop Jim O'Brien, a plainclothes detective nicknamed The Iron Man. Dick Tracy; Dick Tracy Reports to You; The Iron Man. 36 pages, full color. Blackthorne Publishing reprints the original comic-strip adventures of legendary tough cop Dick Tracy and his rogues gallery of freakish enemies. This issue reprints the strips from November 14 – December 29, 1949. Mousey tries to go straight, but pulls one more job with her trained rats, and that puts Tracy and Sam on her trail. Then, Tracy finally marries his longtime sweetheart, Tess Trueheart, on Christmas Day 1949. 32 pages, B&W. Cover price $2.00.
