"Images of the Dead," script by Arnold Drake (idea) and Paul Levitz, art by Gerry Talaoc; When Anne Craton's cab is hijacked by a bank robber, the Phantom Stranger tries to stop their getaway; However, Anne is shot before the police arrive to take the crook away; Later, Anne's husband, artist Alan Cranton is offered $20,000 to create a forgery of a pharaoh's sarcophagus; Alan refuses initially, even though he wishes to make enough money so that Anne doesn't have to drive a taxi anymore; However, he soon learns that Anne is in the hospital, and so he takes the job to pay for her medical treatment, in spite of warnings from the Phantom Stranger. 36 pgs., full color.
