Steve Roper Discovers Toldeo Means Business (1959), illustrated by Allen Saunders, is a very rare, Four page, black and white, 8.5-in. x 11-in. promotional giveaway distributed by the Toledo, Ohio Chamber of Commerce to encourage new business development in the city. The story stars newspaper comic strip reporter Steve Roper who on an assignment for Proof Magazine checks out the city of Toledo. A local sailor shows Steve around the town pointing out all the reasons one should live and do business in Toledo.
