Gridiron Thrills and Basketball Tips by Seamless (1950s) features Hall of Fame basketball star Bob Cousy. At the time this promotional comic was produced, high school and NCAA rule change made possible the introduction of basketballs and footballs manufactured with rubber rather than leather. The advantages of the new rubber balls are herein extolled. Full color, 8-pages standard comic book dimensions, newsprint cover and interior, 10c cover price, but was a giveaway. Cover price $0.10.

Grimms Ghost Stories Mini Comic: The Wand (1974), is a Dan Curtis giveaway. This is issue # 9 of 9 in the series. 3-in. x 6-in., 24 full color newsprint pages. All reprint. Has special offers for coin and stamp collectors or camera users on the back cover.

Guardian and The Case of the Lost Energy (circa 1950) was a promotional comic book produced by Rick Hackney in conjuction with the American Medical Association. The Guardian is a hero who stands for truth, justice, and the consumption of a healthy and nutritional diet. Though the main purpose of this comic is to advertise for Guardian Pots & Pans, there is a nice message about the importance of a healthy diet. 16 pages, full color, newsprint, 7-in. x 10-in.
