Movie cowboy Lash Larue is known for his trademark black outfit and his skill with a bullwhip. "Roving marshal" Lash investigates a protection racket targeting ranchers in Imperial Valley, and traces it back to the seemingly law-abiding owner of the local feed store. In Peaceful Corners, Lash tracks Red Frisby and his cattle-rustling outlaw gang. Lash has to keep Bill Lamont Jr. alive until he turns 21 and inherits his father's ranch, but ranch foreman Sledge has other ideas, in a story with nice art by an unknown artist. Movie cowboy Lash Larue is known for his trademark black outfit and his skill with a bullwhip. "Roving marshal" Lash takes on the outlaws who have seized the Stone Mountain Silver Mine, even though he has one arm in a sling. Lash runs into his myopic pal Squinty in Hedge City, and the two of them accidentally foil an outlaw's safecracking scheme. When Ned Cleery's gang seemingly vanishes into thin air after raids on Ulster Gulch, the sheriff asks Lash for help.
