Drama and melodrama entwine in this early romance comic. Fran's impulsive behavior almost gets her fired after "the elevator incident," but she behaves the same way in her relationship with Ted. Nora always wants to know "what's in it for her," learning too late that some relationships don't work that way. Ellen's horses are her number one concern in life, until she meets Danny... and even then, she's not sure which to choose.
