St. John takes over publishing the comics adventures of the characters of animator Paul Terry's studio. The Claw uses a Mighty Mouse impersonator to frame MM for his crimes, so his gang will have free rein of the city while the Mouse of Steel is in jail. Heckle and Jeckle protect a newly-hatched baby bird, not realizing it's a vulture. A wolf plans a "surprise party" for Mighty Mouse that is just a trap for the mice; luckily, Mighty Mouse crashes his own party.
