Pat goes home to give Greg another chance, but Pauline tricks her into thinking she's Gregs new sweetheart. Ellen throws a party and invites Greg, who explains Pauline's deception, and he and Pat are reconciled. "Cinderella Can Also Cry" - Donna grew up poor, but her family suddenly inherited a fortune. She falls in love with wealthy Roger, only to learn his father's bank is about to go broke and they're counting on Donna's money to save it. Donna leaves town for an "inexpensive resort," where she hides her economic status. Donna falls in love with Milt, but mistakenly thinks he's also a fortune hunter. Milt explains that he's rich, and hid his wealth to discourage women gold-diggers. Since they're financially compatible, Donna and Milt can wed.
