Instead, longtime Capt. Marvel fan Maris has collected several of his favorite Capt. Marvel story which Maris calls "Captain Marvel Rides the Engine of Doom!," a World War II era tales pitting Captain Marvel against Hitler and the Japs! Also included is a variety of related items: Capt. Marvel newspaper comics, a 1940's era article (with photos) about the Fawcett office showing creators at work on the comics, and reproductions of extremely rare announcement sheets that were sent to newsstand distibutors to encourage them to carry and promote new Golden Age titles.
